Certainly our BJJ members all say that once you get on the mats and grapple with your opponent all the worries of the day are put into perspective as you try arm bars, choke holds and scissor sweeps on your partner ot get them to submit.
Carl also stresses however that while BJJ may look intimidating when you first see it in action he points out that the intimacy of training in such close proximity means classes are friendly with very loyal members. BJJ is a very respectful and friendly sport and Carl is quick to remind everyone of their first time on the mats!
